Nat Karmichael Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Hullo Everyone! I am a New Member and thought I would straight away tell everyone about my passion... It is the Australian newspaper adventure strip AIR HAWK and the FLYING DOCTOR that ran from 1959 to 1986. Does anyone remember it? It has been described as 'the world's greatest aviation strip' (not by me!) and I have been so rapt in the adventures that the Australian artist John Dixon created, that I decided to publish a book about his life. He used to fly Tiger Moths and Wackett off the Woolongong cliffs in the post-war years...when he wasn't working flat-out with his adventure strip. If you remember the strip, or want to know more about it, you can read details about the efforts I am STILL going through in order to TRY to get Distributors to carry the book... ...at my web-sites: http://airhawk.weebly.com or at http://comicoz.weebly.com  I'm pretty proud of it and would love to share it with EVERY aviation Fan in the World!! I hope this includes... YOU!! Thanks for reading a little about me! Nat.
