Drumroll please......

"Hello".

Having just signed up to TAA, I'm the editor of Australian Business Traveller (www.AusBT.com.au) but I promise not to spam - just add the odd link to any story as relevant and generally share anything as I can that's germane to TAA members.

Aviation? That being the case, excellent as so many journos report utter rubbish when they report on aviation/airline incidents! I'm not having an attack at you personally so please don't get me wrong just saying that some of them really need to research stuff before it goes to print.

Not aviation, but business travel – which naturally has an element of writing about things with wings but we try to avoid the more hard-core 'aviation' side as this is already a field well tilled, with plenty of local mainstream 'beat' journalists covering this (eg Steve Creedy at The Oz) as well as dedicated aviation publications, web sites, forums etc. And I totally get what you say, all journos need to know their stuff. (We of course aim to get things right on AusBT, and we of course slip up from time to time, but when that happens we try to set things to rights soon as we can!)
