djsflynn Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Drumroll please...... "Hello". Having just signed up to TAA, I'm the editor of Australian Business Traveller (www.AusBT.com.au) but I promise not to spam - just add the odd link to any story as relevant and generally share anything as I can that's germane to TAA members. 1

Guest DWB Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Welcome from me too djsflynn. Any relation to Flynn of the outback?
djpacro Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Good djs, I don't travel for business these days but I could've done with some info from your website prior to my round the world trip last month. Next time.

Guest Darren Masters Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Not a pilot, just a journalist... Aviation? That being the case, excellent as so many journos report utter rubbish when they report on aviation/airline incidents! I'm not having an attack at you personally so please don't get me wrong just saying that some of them really need to research stuff before it goes to print.

Not aviation, but business travel – which naturally has an element of writing about things with wings but we try to avoid the more hard-core 'aviation' side as this is already a field well tilled, with plenty of local mainstream 'beat' journalists covering this (eg Steve Creedy at The Oz) as well as dedicated aviation publications, web sites, forums etc. And I totally get what you say, all journos need to know their stuff. (We of course aim to get things right on AusBT, and we of course slip up from time to time, but when that happens we try to set things to rights soon as we can!)
