Guest DWB Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Curious why aircraft that have adjustable mixtures don't employ stoichiometric meters. I knew little of them till my son put one on his suped up Valiant 360 V8. Do some aircraft have them? Something to Google I guess. I'd like to hear what others think though.
Powerin Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 AN EGT gauge would do the same thing wouldn't it? Peak temp I guess would indicate the best stoichiometric ratio (but not the best power or economy).
