Don't know if you have seen this video. Almost sounds as though the pilot shut the fan down. No sounds before, rather just the engine winding down. Now if he had been a bit higher over those trees...

Sounds like no fuel to me... they shut down that quick when running at full throttle, the giveaway is the slight increase in the sound ofmthe engine when it starts to lean off. bad area to fly in also.
