Spin Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Unfortunate incident at a recent South African EAA breakfast fly in, unseen hole in the grass swallowed the nosewheel. Also, ever wondered why little grass fields charge landing fees? Because after your insurance have paid to replace your prop and tear the engine down, you can be certain they will be sending nasty letters to the airfield operator to recover that money - best make sure that damned policy is up to date! Guest avi8tr Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Oh dear is right! That's gonna hurt. Is the rear landing gear compressed do you think? Probably just temporary I guess.
Guest Darren Masters Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Ouch! Look that tail plane is maxed-out too (almost on the deck). Ouch ouch ouch! Absolutely excellent timing with the camera though!
