I'm going to go out there soon to do a Drifter conversion. I used to fly drifters but that was 20 years ago and I only did 14 hours in them back then. So it doesn't count really.

That would be good. It will be around late May or early June. To cut a long story short, I work 2 on/ 2 off FIFO. When I'm home I like to stay at home because I only see the family six months of the year as it is. But the other half is going overseas for a holiday at the time mentioned above. So I was thinking of going out there, camping and spending a few days out there. It is about a 2.5 hour drive from my home here on the Gold coast. I bought a drifter a month ago, but I grounded her because she needs new wing sails (Pink stripe on the wings failed my fabric test but the other colours are fine) and a little bit of other work done to her. Nothing major. Then she will be like new :) .
