Site Update - belated Xmas presents

For those that are using mobile devices such as an Ipad for the site, previously you were unable to add smilies or apply any other formatting as you compose a new post or thread. Now, you will see the same tool bar across the top of the post editor box where you can add smilies etc directly to your post as you are composing it.

 

A couple of other little gems that have been added are:

 

1. A button on the top of the post editor box that you can click/tap to toggle the editor box full screen or not...great for mobile devices so you can compose your post in full screen view.

 

2. Now when composing a new post, there is an Auto-Save function that will every 30secs save what you have written as a draft and again, there is another button on the top of the post editor box, that you can click/tap to restore the previously saved draft back to the post editor box.

 

3. Many more "bbcode" features that you can use in your posts when composing them. A bbcode is like a little marker that is placed in brackets that will cause certain formatting to be applied in your post. Thanks Ian, got a new tablet for Christmas so just what I need. Will try it out, just as soon as I can get somewhere with decent mobile coverage! :bigwink:
