New to the site. Just a short notre to say Hi. Name is Steve based in Cairns (refueller at the International Airport here) and hold an RAA pilot cert. Flying mostly Jabiru when I can afford it and just renewed my membership at NQ Aero Club as they have a new Jab 160 based at Mareeba. Wrong side of fifty but only just.

I am building the savannah, Atomic Green is just a dream, no place for five layer paint jobs in ultralights. A couple of light coats of mono metallic will have to do. I call 52 just the wrong side of 50 and my 47 just the right side, but the difference isn't great!

hey steve and welcome im close to 50 but am only 47 and i reckon i will still feel this way wen i get there and besides doesnt flying make u (feel) younger.plus as a new student pilot i reckon i will b close to fifty by the time i get my cert?
