jorditzu9 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Well after a few false starts I finally achieved my dream of getting my x country exam yesterday in the trusty j160. Our trip took us from ybaf-ycas-yspe with a diversion and air work along the way. I can now look forward to seeing some of the country side! My flying school pathfinder aviation is getting a new cessna 162 and piper sport which should a bit of fun to fly Now time to start planning my next nav! Cheers jordan. 4 2
ayavner Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Great job!!! Was supposed to do mine today as well, but cancelled due to severe turbulence and wind forecast. How did it go, any big gotchas? Do you have your PAX already?
jorditzu9 Posted November 2, 2013 Author Posted November 2, 2013 thanks mate, As for the test I was expecting everything my only advice is just make sure you Always In front of the aircraft with ground speed checks and planning descents. Also expect your diversions I already had my gfpt when I started with ra aus so I had the solo time up after my first solo nav and he signed me off for pax at the same time. Where abouts are you flying from?
