Looks like a cross between a paper dart & a dragon & cost $US1.5 billion in the 60s. What would that be in todays dollars? The project was cancelled in 1961 due to the introduction of ICBMs, but they carried on & built 2 prototypes that flew in 1964. One crashed after a midair collision in 1966 & the other retired in 1969 & is now in the US Airforce national museum in Ohio.

Looks so modern tho'. It seems the future happened back in the 1960s
