Guest john Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Murphy, a furniture dealer from Dublin, decided to expand the line of furniture in his store, & decided to go to Paris to see what he could purchase. After arriving in Paris, he visited some manufacturers & selected a line he thought would sell well back home. To celebrate his new acquisition he decided to visit a small bistro & have a few glasses of wine. As he sat down & started to enjoy his wine, he noticed that the small bistro was crowded, & that the other chair at his table was the only vacant seat in the bistro. Before long, a very beautiful French blonde came to his table & asked him something in French, which he couldn't understand because he didn't speak French. He tried to speak to her in English, nor did she speak English. After a couple of minutes trying to communicate with her, he decided to draw a picture of what he was trying to tell her, & he took a serviette from the table & drew a picture of a glass of wine & showed it to her. She nodded in the affirmative, & he ordered a glass of wine for the blonde. After sitting together at the table for a while staring at each other, he took another serviette & drew a picture of a plate with food on it & again she nodded in the affirmative. After the meal, they both left the bistro together & found a quiet cafe that featured a small group playing romantic music, & they sat down at a table & he then took another serviette & drew a picture of a couple dancing cheek to cheek. The blonde nodded yes & they both got up & danced till the cafe eventually closed in the early hours of the morning. Before departing the cafe the blonde took a serviette out of its rack on the table & drew a picture of a 4 posted bed. To this day Murphy has no idea the blonde had worked out that he was in the furniture business .
