Guest john Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 An elderly women went into the local Discount Fishing Store to buy a new fishing line & reel for her grandsons forthcoming birthday. She didn't know actually which 1 to buy , so she asked the salesman behind the counter for his advise . The salesman was wearing a pair of sunglasses & told the women that he was blind & assured her that he knew about every item for sale in the shop by the sound it makes when placed on the floor or counter. The women then placed the fishing line & reel that she had chosen on the counter, & the blind salesman told her all about this particular item & the the cost was $44.00. The lady then told the blind salesman that what he had told her about the fishing line was amazing & she therefore decided to purchase this item for $44.00. As she bent down to take her purse from out of the shopping trolley she dropped her credit card onto the floor & accidentally let out a ripper of a fart, which sounded similar to a duck whistle, which item the salesman also had for sale The blind salesman hearing the sound of the credit card dropping onto the floor told the lady that the credit card must be a Visa Card, to which she replied that in fact it was . The blind salesman next told the lady that the total of this transaction would now be $58.50. The lady questioned the price of $58.50 & told the salesman that initially he quoted the amount of $44.00 for the fishing line & reel. In response the blind salesman told the lady that the additional cost refers to the additional items she had obtained from off the counter, being a duck whistle for $11& $3.50 for the fish bait.
