I'd be just a little curious as to whether or not they legally acquired the 24 motorbikes in the shed.

That is always a possibility......having lived in the area for a bit, it's more probable that the lifetime collection was not entirely legally collected. I am in no way suggesting that it has anything to do with the currently targeted " outlaw bikies". Another possibility is that it was one of those dodgy importers, with a shed full of cheap chinese bikes and some insurance. There were a couple out that way that did ok for a while, then died off.

Have you been living under a rock? Some of the 70's stuff is worth a fortune these days, if you've got the right model.
