rankamateur Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Welcome aboard . I read your Supercat post, I have only just finished my training 12 months ago, no more time since. What seems to me is that the price of secondhand aircraft is generaly inversely proportional to their amount of bad habits(times they have tried to kill their owner). So if a type is always cheap, it probrably has a lot of bad habits or it is an orphan. A cheap example of a normally dearer type might be the bargain you are looking for but it needs an extra special check out by someone very familiar with the type, may just belong to someone who can no longer afford to keep up it's costs. I am well into building mine but that wouldn't add up financially,the way the market is going, I am building it to fly, not building it to sell. 1
