stevek Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Hi Jim Saw this thread and thought I would check out the strip on Google maps as I am not too far away. There appears to be 3 strips in close proximity near Atkinsons Dam, which one is Bradfield? My guess would be the northern most strip which appears to have one good grass strip. Can you get a coffee there during the week? Steve.
Kyle Communications Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This is about 2 years old now it is taking off demo Bradfield then EFOTO then over to Lynville it was while I was training to get my pilot certificate
JimG Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Hi Steve , as you can see from Mark Kyles circuit of Bradfield , it is the widest grass strip in the area. It is one mile due west of the western tip of Atkinson dam and has the runway north/ south. Easy to pick as all the fence lines in the area are north/south and east/ west. Someone is usually there most weekends , either Bob or Arthur and Kev or myself are flying circuits or in the training area, so a coffee or tea is always on hand for visitors. Maybe we will see you there...... look forward to it. Cheers JimG
