Good to see they have young apprentices, not just old farts, working on them to keep the skills going. Cheers Neil

Yenn Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Tthat's an interesting write up about Duxford. I went there inAugust, unfortunately I didn't allow enough time to see everything, but it is an amazing place. A spitfire took off and did about 15 minutes flying display, all un announced so i assume it happens regularly. Go there if you ever get the chance and another must see place is Old Warden, which in not far away from Duxford. About 6 or 8 hangars, all joined together and full of flyable aircraft, including a Bristol Blenhiem and the He Haviland Comet, which eon the England to Australia air race. They are also doing rebuilds and maintenance of old and not so old aircraft. 1
