RFguy Posted Saturday at 09:24 PM Posted Saturday at 09:24 PM yeah, well no hangar space currently available at Cowra. I was in one, but that hangar is now getting lunch room, toilet etc and no room for my plane . CLub hangar isnt any good as the door opening isnt wide enough.... hangars should be built so their doors open to the edge of the hangar !
RFguy Posted Saturday at 11:22 PM Posted Saturday at 11:22 PM and stabilator needs to be pulled right back (control column full back) so water can drain. I had the covers on the stab and tail, but that requires the stab to be at neutral position, and that means water cant get out.... so, leaving those covers off...
skippydiesel Posted Sunday at 12:14 AM Posted Sunday at 12:14 AM (edited) No idea how or where this comes from??????? Edited Sunday at 12:17 AM by skippydiesel
skippydiesel Posted Sunday at 12:17 AM Posted Sunday at 12:17 AM This is what I was responding to; "I had the covers on the stab and tail, but that requires the stab to be at neutral position, and that means water cant get out.... so, leaving those covers off..." I had this problem with mine - a few strategic drain holes, in the cover, using a soldering iron, solved my water catchments problem.😈 1

I hope Thruster’s wheat crop dries out fast and doesn’t suffer the dreaded ‘shot and sprung’. Cowra is on my (repeat) visit list for early next year. On my last visit (to the Japanese Gardens), the circuit was busy as heck with warbirds practicing formation. Nice part of the world. 2
