The chat tab

I have a red 2 next to the chat tab on my tool bar similar to the numbers that pop up for the alerts but when I click on the chat tab it opens up and has different chat rooms none of which have any content or other users and I can't get any messages from there.

 

I was wondering just how to use it properly and wondering if there is any messages there just how do I find them? Or is it when the other person trying to chat to me logs off does the conversation disappear?

I opened it and it said "Flash Chat" and I'm not very flash, so desisted. Nev

When I get full Internet connection in my apartment which will hopefully be in just a few more days I will look into it...i am on an iPad at the moment and iPads don't support flash applications

The 2 has since changed to a 1 and then disappeared but pops up every ow and then. I think it's when someone is in the chat room.
