A businessman is getting on a plane when he learns from another passenger that the Pope will be on this same flight. The businessman being a devote Catholic thinks this is a divine miracle. Just before the aircraft doors are closed the Pope enters the plane with his entourage, & to the guys delight sits next to him , which prompts the guy to think that he has been eternally blessed by his Maker.

After the plane became airborne, the guy looked over to the Pope & noticed that he was doing a crossword puzzle & the Pope was looking up to the ceiling of the plane as though he was gazing into heaven & tapping his pencil on the crossword puzzle.

After a few minutes the Pope turned to the guy sitting next to him & says, "I don't usually talk to people on commercial flights, but I was wondering if you can help me?" The guy replied, "anything your Holiness". The Pope then asked the guy , "do you know a 4 letter word that ends in UNT that relates something to women?" The guy feels uncomfortable with this question but after some thought a miraculous thought entered his brain & finally says to the POPE "that the word you may be looking for is spelt AUNT."034_puzzled.gif.ea6a44583f14fcd2dd8b8f63a724e3de.gif

Of course I immediately thought of "bunt" which is what a batting woman does in a softball game.

Of course you did.

Actually I only found out the other day... if someone calls you a "Berk" (or Burke), take offence... it's actually rhyming slang, short for "Berkeley Hunt". Never knew!

I don't take offence often, as I can only be insulted by people I respect. My sense of humour is so specialised that it can only be understood by extremely intelligent people. Now don't all start laughing. I'm being serious. Nev
