shafs64 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I was talking to my wife about my issues I was having when learning how to fly and my sister in law was listening. And said why don't you just stop flying! 1 1
Garfly Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 This might be the video SDQDI was referring to: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=401176083333530 1
Guest ozzie Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 There was a video somewhere of a DC3 being started with a rop and ute at Temora couple of years ago.
facthunter Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 It's been done often. Just don't let the rope get tangled in the prop once it starts. Nev
Guest ozzie Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 The trick is laying the end of the rope along the hub before winding it around so when it comes off the rope is at the end of the hub and not near the blades and pull at a slight angle away from the propeller.
