turboplanner Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 That's right Yenn, and the Senate started looking into a few other things, and the Minister is now a little bit more aware that there may be an epidemic of problems out here.......and then these idiots come along and provide more direct evidence of where to go looking for some corrective action and people to make examples of....some rough justice.
facthunter Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Most of the issues with Hempel were of a medical nature and the fact he would have flown anyway. Non compliance doesn't make the rules right or wrong per se. I think the DAME came in for some criticism. None of these "events" make it better for those of us who want to fly, and are prepared to do the right thing. Nev
spacesailor Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 So after all the discussion I still contend! Who Will give Me a joy-flight for a contribution to their fuel cost. Lets test the law, might even take photo,s heaven forbid. spacesailor
turboplanner Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 What you're describing there is a cost sharing arrangement, and you can look up on the CASA site the limits under which that can legally take place, but from memory you can contribute up to 50% of the cost (which by the way would not be enough to make it worthwhile for a pilot to do for a living.
spacesailor Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 So, NO trip from you, I could have had a look at the museum there too. LoL spacesailor
