Neil_S Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Newbie to this site10 months exp on trikes now in own Pegasus - left GA after 47 years (including 9 years on ultralight beaver) Different and fantastic Happy new year all Hi Ralph, Welcome to the site, and Happy New Year to you! Please tell us some more about your flying - eg where you fly from etc, and I would like to see a picture of that ultralight beaver (hhhmmm - it's good this is not a dodgy website, or that might sound rather bad....) Cheers Neil
Ralph Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Hi Neil Thanks for welcome My flying has mostly been from the riverina nsw (apart from 2 years at goolwa SA in my airtourer). Photos above Pegasus Quasar Victa Airtourer 115 ( now sold) Beaver 503 Regards
Ralph Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Nice Airtourer! Thanks - it left me a fortnight ago ! Very sad. But gone to a good home Regards
Old Koreelah Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Nice-looking aeroplanes, Ralph. I presume not many fliers go from 3-axial to weight-shift. How was the transition and do your feet sometimes forget which way to push (mine did)?
Ralph Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Hi old koreelah Initially both feet and hands were a big problem - after 20+ hours now ok . It IS possible to teach old dogs new tricks! Regards Ralph
