We actually logged the arrival of just over 150 aircraft . It was my wife doing the meet & greet of arriving aircraft.Thanks to all who attended, what a great weekend.

That VH-TMX has an interesting undercarriage set up.

 

Is it just the angle of the shot or is it basically a nose and tail wheel with two small outrigger wheels?.

It looks like the setup I saw on a motor glider at Caboolture.

It was really pleasing to talk to lots of aviators that were visiting Old Station for the first time as well as many regulars.

 

Our prize for the furthest distance flown went to a solo flyer in a RV. I also know of one couple that flew commercially from W.A. to be part of the fun.

It is Europa mate. That is the way they are, one centre line fuselage wheel, a tail wheel and outrigger wheels, one under each wing.

The RV from Adelaide was one of 11 RV' at the weekend and he did the trip in 6 hours. Not bad going I think.
