dazza 38 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I was wondering why ballpoint has been quiet around here.
Ballpoint 246niner Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Many thanks to all- I look forward to formal communications with our membership through my role in the coming weeks. 3
coljones Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Many thanks to all- I look forward to formal communications with our membership through my role in the coming weeks. Congrats on the new job. Neill, Do you think, untarnished, as you are, by previous Board membership or employment with RAA, that you might put in a good word about making the draft Ops Manual available to the peasantry? Cheers 2 1
Kyle Communications Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hi Neil Congratulations on the new job....the biggest issue is having to go to Canberra especially i winter....bloody cold hole......I think you should push for the RAA to move their office to Qld 2
facthunter Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Canberra gets pretty HOT and pretty COLD.. I've spent plenty of time there over the years and it can be worth a visit but I'm not sure that I would want to live there. Nev 3
rankamateur Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 70,000 of us wandered down there one day to front Bob Hawke with a few of our concerns, 14 degrees predicted so we turned up in our jeans and long-johns and it turned on about 27 instead. Got mighty humid by the time we all got back on the buses for an all-nighter home! Niel,Good luck with your journey to CASA, that will get you back to Brisbane before you know it! 1
Teckair Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 what are you trying to say Steve? Mmm might be on about the ops managers racking off to CASA after we train them up.
rankamateur Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 We will just have to make the most of him while we have him, Queenslanders can only survive so many southern winters! 1
