cscotthendry Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Be careful what you buy on eBay. If you buy stuff on line, check out the seller carefully. A friendhas just spent $95, plus postage, on a penis enlarger. Bastards sent him a magnifying glass. The only instructions said, "Do not use in sunlight." 6

Marty_d Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Heard of one scam (don't know if it's true or not) that took place before the internet. A bloke would post adverts in magazines for some product or other, well below the normal price. When someone ordered one and paid for it, he sent back a letter saying "Sorry, we're out of stock" and refunding their money.... on large and gaudy personalised cheques, with bold writing stating the payer was something like "Big Gay Al's Anal Supplies" or words to that effect. Naturally enough, many people were too embarrassed to present the cheques. Money for nothing! 1

bexrbetter Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Might be where I saw it - been years since I saw that. Good movie. No, it's actually a true story, was in America and the people were intending on purchasing sex toys. One I like was well before the internet, 1970's in fact, adverts in Australian newspapers "Cut your bills in half, guaranteed!" - for your money you were sent a pair of scissors!! 1
alf jessup Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 If you mate has the girls complaining about the size of it tell him to tell them that he might have a small organ an it just wasn't meant to play in St Pauls Cathedral. I think he got what was deserved, there are some pretty cagey people out there on evil bay and he did get what he paid for in a sense. It sucks but lesson learn and thanks for sharing not that I would order one lol. Alf 1
