The Canberra Airport Open Day is happening again on Sunday 6 April from 9.30am to 1.30pm, and will feature loads of aircraft displays and children's activities. Visitors to the Open Day can climb aboard aircraft from Qantas, Qantas Link and Virgin Australia, the world-famous Connie�� aircraft from the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society, along with a Caribou, Catalina flying plane and DC3/C47. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get up close to smaller aircraft, Airport Fire Truck and a selection of our celebrated warbirds.

 

 

 

There will be 5 thrilling aerobatic displays throughout the day including formation displays, handling display by the Red Baron Pitts Special, solo Roulette aerobatic displays and a high energy display by a Fastrack Extra. Lockheed Martin are bringing along a life size model of an F35 fighter jet. Get your picture taken in the cockpit or with an actual F35 pilot!
