Thoughtful Boyfriend

Bill had recently met his new girlfriend named Mary while he was working away from his usual town & he fell in love with her & didn't want to lose her even though he had to leave this town he was temporarily working in & return home.

 

He thought the best way to show how much he loved her was to send her a present. Bill consulted his sister as to what he should buy Mary, & his sister suggested that he buy Mary a pair of nice warm fur lined gloves for the coming winter season. Bill & his sister therefore went shopping at the local department store & selected a pair of nice fur lined gloves for Mary. Bill's sister also purchased a new pair of knickers for herself which were on special.

 

Bill asked the shop assistant at the department store to gift wrap the gloves, however the shop assistant accidentally mixed up the items unbenowingly to Bill & his sister, & gift wrapped the knickers instead of the gloves. Whilst Bill was still in town he decided to post the gift wrapped parcel to Mary with the following love letter:

 

My Dear Mary,

 

I chose this gift because I've noticed that you are not wearing any when we go out on these past cold evenings. If it had not been for my sister, I would have chosen the long ones with buttons, but my sister wears shorter ones because they are easy to remove. These are a very delicate shade, but the shop assistant where I bought them showed me the pair she had been wearing for the past 3 weeks & they were hardly soiled at all. I asked the shop assistant to try them on & she looked really smart in them even though they were a little bit tight for her to get them on. The shop assistant also said that because of the tightness they rub against her ring which helps to keep it clean .

 

I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time, as no doubt many other hands will touch them before I have a chance to see you again. When you take them off please remember to blow in them a little because they will be a little damp from wearing in this cold weather. Just imagine how many times my lips will kiss them during the coming year when we meet up again & I trust you will be wearing them on our next date.
