AVOCET Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I would at a guess recon that there'd be a lot , if not the majority of people that fly are more than capable of operating some sort of mobile device or computer .oz r/w Ect. After all it's 2014 not 1995
RickH Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 John F Kennedy said " There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction" Stay comfortable guys, I've got an aeroplane to fly and the weather outside is perfect. See you you when you're grounded and comfortable. And while you are grounded you will have plenty of time to ponder "Parmenides Fallacy" Then ball is in your court.
Phil Perry Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I think consensus is how many active RAA members are there .................. and how many of those use this site ? How much does it cost to join RAA,. . . . and do they accept foreigners ? ? ? Be interested to know. Phil.
Guest Crezzi Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 How much does it cost to join RAA,. . . . and do they accept foreigners ? ? ? As Nev pointed out most people here are foreigners but you can join RAAus as an overseas member if that's what you meant. Fees are here https://www.raa.asn.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Schedule-of-fees-and-charges-Updated-Januray-2014.pdf & there's a $50 surcharge to cover the extra postage for the magazine (its not as good as the BMAA though). Cheers John
