barryk Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I have a KR2 with a Jabiru 2200 and an IS28M2 motor glider. I have 400hrs plus of flying, 75% is gliding. I have a level 1 gliding instuctors rating. I have re-enigined my KR2 :;)2:, crashed it and I am now in the process of rebuilding it , 2 or 3 months to go:). I have a WEB page http://www.users.bigpond.com/kr2/ regards Barry
slartibartfast Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Hi Barry and welcome. Checked out your KR2 pics. What a bugger about that paddock! It looked great before then. Good luck with the rebuild. Did you ever get the jab to 3300rpm? Don't think you'd really want to anyway. I can see my Cheetah's roots in the KR2. Hope you enjoy the forum. Ross

barryk Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 Hi ya BarryK - The KR2 is a nice little plane - fast as!!I cant fit in the KR2, but I can squeeze into the KR2s, which I have done and had a blast at 135 kt's - 2 up!! Sorry to hear it crashed - wish you all the best with the re-build...were you hurt at all? No, Iwas not hurnt, except for ego and pride. But I was flying (instructing) the very next weekend, so I got over it fast enough. regards Barry
rick-p Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 G'day Barry, Welcome. The IS28M2 looks nearly as good as my Lambada, but of course I'm prejudice. Regards, Rick-p
