Guest john Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 When Charles Linburgh landed in Paris on 21 May 1927 in the aircraft named the Spirit of St. Louis for his world record flight for the 1st person to fly solo across the Atlantic ocean non stop from New York to Paris in an aircraft, a chinese husband & wife living in New York at that time were lucky to have their first boy born on that same day. In recognition of this significant world event that Linburgh accomplished, the chinese couple named their son " (WON) ONE LONG HOP". (True Story). If that boy is still alive today he would now be 87 years of age. I wonder if he ever changed his name by deed poll.
