aj_richo Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Heads up! Another RAaus issued General Airworthiness Advisory Inspection requirement. Relates to proper termination of swaged cable and thimble assemblies on all aircraft prior to next flight. Found on a Waiex aircraft undergoing a condition inspection. The cable assemblies were supplied by the kit manufacturer in an unserviceable condition. https://www.raa.asn.au/documents/airworthiness/Swage cable insepction bulletin 12082014.pdf
pmccarthy Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 OK, what is an airframe log book? My LSA has a maintenance log (RAA Form 7.1.4 Annex G) which my LAME keeps in his file, is that the same thing? I log hours, fuel, oil, landings on a spreadsheet.
