Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. Why can't I post a video

Everytime I try to upload a video I type my message, click on attachment but all I get to choose from are stills. Is it a) something I'm doing wrong? b) Has it something to do with Windows 8.1 or c) Can't upload videos?

I think you need to put it on youtube then post the link or something like that.

I also came across this a few days ago, I used vimeo to upload to and it worked very easily.

 

If you click on the icon of two films on the toolbar near the emoticons it shows a list of accepted sites to upload to.

Probably because of poorly designed software and operating systems. (All the good programmers have retired)
