GAFA Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Anyone have details about the incident at YCAB today?
Cosmick Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I heard that an aircraft had a nose wheel incident possibly collapse on Saturday morning, possibly a Cessna.
Kyle Communications Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 A Cessna RG was doing circuits on Saturday morning looks like when he tried to do a shortcut going across some rough ground the nosewheel "retracted"
GAFA Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Thanks everyone, that sounds like the one.
kaz3g Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Pesky nose wheels! Can't trust 'em. Kaz 2 3
eightyknots Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I heard that an aircraft had a nose wheel incident possibly collapse on Saturday morning, possibly a Cessna. Let me guess: the journalists will report that there was "An Incident with a Cessna".
shags_j Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 No they will report "an Incident with an Ultralight"... Remember anything smaller than a DH8 is an Ultralight ;)
maddog63 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 No they will report "an Incident with an Ultralight"... Remember anything smaller than a DH8 is an Ultralight ;) Isn't that the truth. It's got to the point now that even when a VH registered aircraft goes down my non-aviation friends are commenting on how dangerous ultralights are ?????
turboplanner Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 So who is promoting ultralight aircraft, and how and where?
