planedriver Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 If you want to join the 'Mile high club' then it has to be a Thruster. :ecstatic:but requires an endorsement.Alan. God, you're a bad man, but now we know why you have a smile on your face. Such is experience! 1
SDQDI Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I'm just interested in more info on the Endorsment I'll be blowed if I'd let any of the instructors I know sign me off on that one:naughty: No offence meant to any instructors I know:roflmao: 1
Guernsey Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I'm just interested in more info on the Endorsment Instructor must be of the opposite sex, be a certified contortionist, and the check flight for the endorsement must take a minimum of one hour. Depending on the health status of the student the endo can be split up into four 15 minute excursions. Alan M, Guernsey President, Mile high club, Australian Branch. 2
Guernsey Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 You would be flat out getting to one mile up unless you are light like Tomo. Nev Yes I am lightweight (70 kilos), anyone much heavier would probably not be fit enough to pass the test. Alan.

Guernsey, ya might only be 70Ks and I'm not a betting man, but I'd wager that you'd be hard pressed to pass the 'test' in a Thruster, on the ground, in a hangar & behind closed doors. Rebut that you dirty old dreamer! cheers Riley 1 1 1

planedriver Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 The second photo says it all. So it's really an Avocet "Sandman" passion wagon, ideal for the drive-in movies. 1

Wingtech Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 No matter which way you choose Tomo, Thruster or Drifter, if it needs new skins just give us a call at Wingtech. Your wife might even like to choose the new colours (hint hint). Cheers Alan 2
