eightyknots Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 From the Slovaks. Not so sure about the stability of this thing.... but I like that they are trying. If you look at the specs, the entire car/plane weighs just 450 kg. It has two person capacity which (unless they are real lightweights) will get to the 600 kg limit and there is still fuel to be taken on board! I am not sure how this 'vehicle' will go with the ANCAP crash rating system either. If, somehow, they could shave another 100 kg off this, it could possibly be RA-Aus registered.
Gnarly Gnu Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Pretty sure the ANCAP rating would exceed a motor cycle and they are still legal.
PA. Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 If you had the desire to make something like this you would be better off making it as a tail dragger and register it as a motorcycle. This then would not require crash testing etc. 2
