Hi Deb and Ralph

Julie and I will certainly be attending the splash in, weather permitting. We have just christened our new 701 on amphibious floats so this will be the first trip away with it. There should be a fair few others from the Whitsundays heading down including a Searay a Supper Petrel and a couple of Lightwings. We will try and give firm figures closer to the day.

Looking forward to a great weekend

cheers

Ian

We've just had BOB the 701 on floats at Starke airfield for the Easter fly in, so we are now planning the trip down for the Lake Barambah splash in. hope to see many other seaplanes there.

Great venue, food and something completely different with sea planes including the famous Millard landing and taking off on the dam.

Over 30 planes including 6 seaplanes, by 2pm Saturday with more expected.

Unfortunately we could only have the aircraft for the day, but had a great time as I am sure everyone else did.

Enormous effort by Ralph and Deb and there many helpers, very well done.

Can't wait to return to this magical spot next year.

Great to meet so many flyers, and soak in the atmosphere.

Here are some shots of our day, no doubt there will be a lot more coming from others that stopped for the weekend.

Regards Graham and Val.
