Hi there,

I fly a Savannah S out of White River, South Africa.

Really pleased to join such an active forum of GA flyers.

I look forward to read, learn and be entertained.

I flew kites with my kids for years before learning to fly a powered paraglider, I got to old for that so I acquired a Jabiru powered Bantam and few that for a few years before having a local builder build a savannah for me a little more than year ago.

I work as a lawyer. I represent sick and injured mine workers and rural communities impacted by mining activities. When I can I fly to where they live, mainly in remote rural areas. The Savannah is great for landing on dirt roads and rough strips. Termite mounds hidden in the long grass and aardvark holes are a common hazard when landing. An engine out over rugged mountains is my biggest fear. image.jpg.b5a0d18f83ec0e270072e8b6d720c20b.jpg

Hi everyone, I'm new to this. I'm currently living in Qatar, Middle East and building an RV-7, which I'm planning to ship to Aussie when finished. Looking at the various airparks springing up around Oz with interest.
