Methusala Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Was just re-reading Charlie Mike Charlie again and wondering where is Charlie Mike Charlie now? I saw it years ago at Drage's Air World in Wangaratta but the museum went bust and they sold the collection. I suspect that it is out there with new registration. Don
rankamateur Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Has the rego been recycled though, they aren't like car rego plates.
Rastus Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 From the CASA register. Surely it's the same aeroplane? How many T-18's were built in 1972? VH CMC Power Driven Aeroplane with TAILWHEEL-FIXED landing gear Single Piston engine Manufacturer: AMATEUR BUILT AIRCRAFT Model: T-18 Serial number: V14 Aircraft first registered in Australia: 20 April 1972 Year of manufacture: 1972 Full Registration
Roundsounds Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 The VH-CMC listed is the same one built / flown by Clive Canning and is very good hands. The aircraft is usually hangared at an ALA near Wangaratta or in Temora.
Methusala Posted December 16, 2014 Author Posted December 16, 2014 I thank you all for your interest and information regarding this icon of daring and adventure in Aussie aviation lore. Don
