seb7701 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Does anyone know this Drifter? Is this the elusive Jab powered version I have heard about? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Drifter-Ultralight-Aircraft-/151534131889?pt=AU_Aircraft&hash=item2348235ab1
dazza 38 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 It would be more reliable if it was fitted wih a blue head 582 me thinks. The Bantam suffers with poor cooling when fitted with a Jab. The Drifter would be similar I reckon.
seb7701 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 Definitely agree Dazza - 582 any day. Was interesting that the ad mentioned nothing of the 'improvement'. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no way it should still be 25- rego?
David Isaac Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 There used to be a Jab powered Drifter at Warnervale a couple of years ago, this is probably it since Ourimbah is within a few Kilometres of Warnervale He obviously doesn't want to sell it very much, or could do with lessons on how to sell ..... no details, no TTIS, no engine hours, no engine type no date of manufacture no statement on rego status. These kind of ads really peef me. 3
David Isaac Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 You are a funny man FT, I laugh because I have been there. Had to sell a Jet race boat many moons ago or ........
Deskpilot Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Many years ago, a friend in London was looking for a cheap car. He answered and advert in the local paper "Car for sale, 10 pounds." He went to the house and a lady answered his knock. "If you're after the car, it's in the garage. Go and have a look" He went to the garage, opened the door and there was a sparkling, almost new, Jaguar . He went back to the lady and said "there's obviously a printing error in the paper" "No" she said, "Me husband has deserted me for a younger woman and I've been told to sell all his stuff and send him the money" 3
facthunter Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 This might be a sale posthumorously David. Nev 1

seb7701 Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 That can't keep certification with the Jab motor can it?
