Guest ozzie
Just picked this sad news up elsewhere. If you have been around the Sydney GA and or HD bike scene over the years you may have met Sy Alsepp. Regret to say that Sy passed away suddenly yesterday. Sy owned a Harley Davidson shop and had rebuilt a Beaver he had recovered from the bottom of a Canadian lake he was also a part owner of the Scottish Pioneer. old man emu
Oh! What sad news. A nice quiet bloke. I can remember him doing his conversion to that Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Aviation_Twin_Pioneer ) at Camden a couple of years ago. Guest ozzie
His new shop in Campbelltown was a real step up from the shed in Liverpool.
planedriver
Sad to hear, I had a long chat with him at Wedderburn. Seemed a very interesting quiet type of guy to chat to. R.I.P
pylon500
Very sad news. Knew Sy well while working at AirAg. Helped in the rebuilding/restoring of his beaver and Twin Pin. Went to the first Tassie air races with him back god knows when.....? Really nice bloke, will be missed.
