Empty weight 289kg. MTOW 472gk = Useful load of 183kg. Why bother with two seats? The weight is given for the 80 hp 912 and the performance for the 100 hp 912S, why?

No idea why, I just copied the details from their website. However there seems to be a number of them flying, including a floatplane version, according to Google Images.

MTOW is a deal breaker IMO.

Yep, if it wasn't 600 I wouldn't even kick the tyres......

Compare that to a 6 cyl jab airframe which can be 750 vh rego.

At 600 you know it's got good "redundant strength".

Maybe the 472 is just for a particular market/country?

Can't see how 183 empty is in anyway marketable.....

Yeah with full fuel I'd have to fly naked and without charts/iPad, not sure how that ramp check would go.........

But it does look pretty and maybe for a lighter person who mainly flew on their own or with a child it would be ok.

A slab and the dog would max it out eh?
