kaz3g Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Not so long ago many of us thought they were going to invade our North-west. Now we train them to fight on our land! If things do go skew whiff it will take more than our new naval helicopter carrier and a few JSF to stop them. http://www.news.com.au/technology/a-new-arms-race-is-exploding-into-asia-with-an-expensive-and-extensive-shopping-list-of-new-weapons-whos-buying-what-and-where-does-australia-stand/story-e6frfrnr-1226825644654 And now we have the Russians making up to the Indonesians and the Chinese rattling their Sabres. Bloody hell!! Kaz

That would only be fair considering all the training we've given them so far. rgmwa 1
nong Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Do you really think crummy old JSF's could in any way contest against Su35s? Think Wirraway vs Zero. Our negligent successive governments, starting with that led by John Howard, have pissed our regional air superiority up the wall and re-created our 1941 situation. Those F-111 ordnance trucks could have served us indefinitely. 1
