Tony Stevens' new used 582 Lightwing arrived today from Gatton area via Dingo Roadhouse...3 hours Dingo to Townsville with 90 kts groundspeeds ( forecast 11 Kts on the tail). Currently keeping 'Miss Adventure 2' company until Steve gets his shed up and organised. Will post more photos when I get a chance.......

Dammit Maj- I should have taken that one when I could have!!!! Flew nicely! Reckon you could save a kilo or two just by turfing that old radio - what a classic!

New owner hasn't 'revalidated his certificate yet so may have to take him for a fly in it on Saturday morning....he was trying to do some taildragger training a couple of Sundays ago but training Drifter ended up in the trees !!........

Can you get these factory built and does anyone have a price range? They look like a good option for a first aircraft.

Yes the 582's are about just keep you eyes on the mag.

Keep asking Maj. and Doug they are like blood hounds regarding the LW's. Those two they are on the sale scent all the time.

You will not go wrong with a LW.

Regards

KP.

Yes they are a great little machine for the price....I had a look over the new /used one yesterday, and sat in with the new owner while he did some engine runs and taxing . Very well maintained by prev owner, and the new owner is very happy with his purchase.

He prefers to do the low/ slow looking around type flying and this machine should be perfect for him.
