Graham Pukallus Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Picture Perfect Day, over 100 Aircraft attended, great flyin and get together, Big thanks to Trevor and the team who worked so hard to bring everyone together. RAA President Michael Monck and his team gave a informative talk of the new RAA structure and future developments. Just Aircraft Company Australian manager flew the New Super STOL Aircraft which was very impressive indeed. Airfield was immaculate and history abounds of yesteryear days of real flying. Everyone enjoyed the day and look forward to next years famous Clifton Flyin. 7

Kyle Communications Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Did anyone get a video of the Highlander SuperStol display?..
SDQDI Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Did anyone get a video of the Highlander SuperStol display?.. Videos won't do it justice Kyle. You should come down to Quirindi for a visit on a second Saturday of the month and get A bit of one on one with Brett:thumb up:. As long as it doesn't clash with an airshow that he is flying at:wink:, he is always more than happy to convert nose wheel stol's to the real thing:amazon: 2
DGL Fox Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Did anyone get a video of the Highlander SuperStol display?.. No I didn't have my video camera but I did see it doing it's tricks, very impressive performance..I wouldn't mind one in my hangar ... David
WayneL Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Did anyone get a video of the Highlander SuperStol display?.. Yes Mark, I did get some video of the Highlander. I will see what I can do to put it online and add a link to it. Stay tuned. Was a great Saturday evening as wind died off and BBQ with 90 people was great. Sunday morning started out calm, Great day all round. Here are some more photos. Our CEO Micheal Linke is in the rear seat of the Drifter having his first Drifter ride. Hope the Hunter Valley guys got home OK....around those storms in that region today. Wayne. 5

David Isaac Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Wayne, We got home OK. Bit of a head wind most of the way, but clear over the divide into the valley and all the way to Cessnock. Not sure we would have made Warnervale though, but this time our destination was Cessnock. We had a fantastic time. Trevor and all the Darling a Downs folk did a fantastic job and made us feel so welcome. Thanks again folks, it was a great trip. 1 2

cscotthendry Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 What a fantastic day. The organisation was faultless from my perspective. A really great turnout, top day and very well prepared. The RAA talk was informative and gave me a new perspective and opinion of the organisation. Trevor got a bit emotional at the end when he thanked all for coming. Obviously he was well chuffed at the participation, and he had every right to be pleased at how it turned out. If you didn't make it this year, mark your calendar for next year. Not to be missed. 2 6
