kasper Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Don't forget this is the "once in a blue moon" Friday the 13th ... its the second month in a row where the 13th is a Friday ... if I was the worrying kind I'd wish I was still in bed 1
peter Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Flew this morning, glorious weather here in Goolwa, the coorong was sparkling, not a cloud in the sky. Then back to the hangar to work on the Onex. Does life get any better? 1
frank marriott Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Flew this morning also, the wind up here was 25/30kts, mod turb, but hey, just tighten the seatbelt a bit more, all good. 2
mnewbery Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Flew under an overcast just high enough to let me do what I needed. 1.6 hours including my first PIC flight for the year. Wind was mostly down the runway
ben87r Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 We never seem to fly Friday's but thanks to murphy, wasn't a cloud in the sky and light winds. Not sure the guys on the coast had the same tho! Anyone on here from Geraldton/Exmouth? Herd from a friend a fair amount of damage was done.

I'm at the opposite end of the country but I keep a close eye on what is happening over there as I used to have a station that way many years ago. Carnarvon copped a pizzling again...drought then floods now this. The banana crops are flattened but the damage to infrastructure is also widespread. No doubt the Lyons and Gascoyne Rivers will come down hard just to top things off. She's a harsh country this beautiful land of ours. Kaz 3
