Dinga Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Hi All, I am interested to hear from anyone that has purchased a Microlight from interstate and flown it back, either East to West or visa versa? (or North to South for that matter) In particular, I'd love to hear your experiences and thoughts, budget costs, type of aircraft. Is it something you look back at fondly having had memorable experiences and gained invaluable experience or do you look back and wonder if you momentarily took leave of your senses Cheers Craig
spacesailor Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Small stuff is easier to pick up with a trailer, Sydney-Cairns 5 days going up & 4 days return, spacesailer
flyingfooty28 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Craig, Having flown across Austrailia for a charity flight from Forbes to Broome I found it to be very challenging and weather dependent. We had a support party which could trailer etc if weather was poor. Amazing experience but you certainly need to do your planning and not be in a rush. Cheers J 1
