Sahansdal Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Hi, pilots. I googled Samba and a beautiful plane came up which is probably long gone. Samba XL from 2014 at $59,500. Bunbery, or something like that, south of Perth.. Anybody know what became of it?
Guest Maj Millard Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 No mate can't help you with that one at all. I got my PPL at San Carlos just up the road from you, and I flew for many years at Petaluma to the North...where do you fly from Morgan Hill ?..... Cheers, Maj....

I was training in my own Pipistrel Virus at Reid Hillview in 2012 but it was too much for me o handle. It's a tailwheel, and I want a trike. Thanks for the welcome. :)
rgmwa Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 As far as I know it was still at Bunbury in May 2014, but that probably doesn't help much. Were you thinking of buying it? rgmwa

Sahansdal Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Ah, now the price has gone back up. Thanks.
ayavner Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 yes but the exchange rate has come down significantly since then (in your favour)...
Sahansdal Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 It looks like an old post. I don't see "2015" or even lat 2014 anywhere.
rgmwa Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 It's an old thread but the owner (at the time) gave his mobile number in the last post for people to contact him (0407779752, which I think is 61 407779752 if calling from overseas). May be worth a phone call. rgmwa
