ben87r Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 So the flight training org has seen some common sense and said that I will be single current, will maybe want to see a circuit or two.
ave8rr Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 The best career enhancing policy is to create a demand for an explanation of the changes you've just made, to a regulation which itself was unnecessary, because the US model would have fitted Australia well in the first instance. As it has done in NZ and a number of other countries.
Yenn Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I have done single seat BFRs for years but I don't think it will wash with a 2 seat GA plane. The person doing the BFR has to be endorsed on that plane and also would need dual controls. Anyway I did it in a C172 today, what a ponderous machine that is after an RV4 and a Corby Starlet. It was like going from a sports car to a Scammel truck and I am not exaggerating. 1
