1.5L turbo diesel inline 4 with PSRU 150HP 120KG 2000hr TBO

Anyone who believes that installed weight for a moment is going to be disappointed.

 

Viking struggle to beat that with a normally aspirated petrol engine, diesels require much heavier components throughout and include a diesel injector pump.

Yes, extra strength all over and more flywheel. These TBO's are just a guess. (Usually very optimistic). The motors will become more cheap with time. I understand they don't overhaul them at life. Costs more than a new one. Nev
