rankamateur Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Ladies and gentlemen it is now time to board your aircraft.Alan. More to the point, Ladies and Gentlemen it is now time to alight from the aircraft.... any takers?
Guernsey Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Why are we talking about human passengers, it was probably the lions that were waiting to board. 1

bexrbetter Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 groooannn.... where's your Pride? I had it on paws for a moment. 1
Gnarly Gnu Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Reckon some of the old Qantas FA dragons would scare that little bunch right off. 2
Marty_d Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I had it on paws for a moment. A likely tail. I think you're lion about that. Don't come the roar prawn with me, I'm not a cub any more.
facthunter Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Can't see any over the other side where the door is. Maybe they are used to going there. Doesn't look like much to eat around the place, either. Bad sign. Nev
Guernsey Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 You need to do a Google search guys, apparently the passengers alighted from the aircraft, were then eaten by a pride of lions who subsequently rested in the shade after their heavy meal. Alan.

Yeah nice try .... Apparently happens on occasion to them and a starter's pistol does the job to clear them away - with a backup rifle just in case.
Guest john Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Havnt all you smart people on this forum actually realised what the lions are there for, if not think again. The pilot of the plane rang the local zookeeper before he departed from where he took off & requested the zookeeper to bring the lions to the airport when he landed & allow the lions to stay under the wing of the plane for security purposes so as to stop all the local black cannibals from scavenging & wrecking the plane.
Yenn Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I did a conversion to a fairchild Argus years ago. Radial engine with a poor reliability record and the CFI said "If you had an engine failure now where would you land?" So I pointed out a big open area, only to be told that it was the Warragamba Lion Park and it would have to have done a there was little alternative. 2
